Professional web design with interactive features

Our simplest web design offering is based on a six-page site, designed and priced to suit Dublin professionals, consultants, and small businesses establishing a first-time web presence. A unique template will be created for your site, composed from colours, themes, and images chosen to match any existing marketing materials you may be using.

You would provide Computers of South Dublin with representative materials, including flyers, business cards, stationery, any existing logo, and roughly 500 words of text (in a document or email message) describing your business. The result will be a six-page web site similar to the following:

  • a Home page with top-level information, plus two additional pages with a more detailed description of your product line or service (more pages can be added but this may be reflected in your quote)
  • a Blog or News area to which regular messages may be posted, to keep customers engaged and drive search engines to your site
  • an About Us page with optional details, history, C.V. links, map, directions, etc…
  • a Contact form — when filled in and submitted, its details will be emailed to you

Though COSD does not provide hosting and domain registration services, the design fee will include identifying competitively priced, robust services which we will help you register in your name. Your service also includes unlimited email contact throughout the design process, for you to view templates and web site drafts, submit corrections to page text, supply images, and suggest layout changes.

Web site enhancements

In addition to straightforward web site development such as adding new pages and updating images, you may consider the following modifications as a starting point (contact COSD if your desired feature is not listed):

  • blog and Internet forum — interactive features to encourage customer participation in your site
  • search engine optimisation (SEO) — emphasizing search keywords in your site text and web page data to improve search engine ranking
  • site cleanup — fixing broken links, applying consistent navigational structure, breaking up long pages, etc…
  • cascading style sheets (CSS) — ensures that every page has consistent fonts, formatting and layout, while separating text content from appearance (important for SEO)
  • eCommerce — adding links for online payment through PayPal — setting up an online shopping cart on your web site
