Courses are modelled after the Microsoft teacher training programmes, condensed to the most practical and universal elements. You are free to download the full Office XP tutorials if you would prefer to study this material on your own… of course you are encouraged to call Computers of South Dublin for a specific training session if you run into problems.

For office-based professionals interested in migrating to a home working environment, COSD will emphasise those techniques supporting online communication with central office staff from your “remote” workstation and introduce any possible time-saving methods and productivity tools.

Certification for the European Computer Driving License (ECDL) involves an exhaustive survey of every feature of the above five Microsoft applications. In our experience most home and office users do not require knowledge this detailed in order to be creative and productive. Nevertheless, COSD is well-equipped to provide supplementary training whenever necessary for any ECDL certification programme.

To facilitate this, you may download the ECDL module outlines which serve well as pre-testing checklists. Though COSD does not provide ECDL certification, you are welcome to enroll in a self-paced home study course and contact COSD for supplementary training, including both periodic in-person tutoring and review before examinations.
