Basic computer lessons: orientation and task-specific
training
Training with Computers of South Dublin will generally
be conducted on your home or office computer. Whenever possible, you will
be at the computer — your instructor is there to demonstrate each
technique for your repetition and to answer questions. Introductory
sessions are generally two hours in length, spaced at intervals long enough
to allow you to practice on your own and to raise questions and problems
between each session.
Clients presented with their first computer tend to benefit most from
one or more of our computer foundations training
sessions. All others might keep an ongoing inventory of any desired or
required skills such as those in the intermediate
or application sections, to serve as a dynamic
course outline of all training sessions until the goal of self-sufficiency
is reached.
